Visitors Are Always Welcome!

Are you planning your first visit to Madison? Great! We can't wait to meet you! We strive to be like Jesus in all that we do, and if you are looking for a church where you can serve and fellowship, we'd love to have you join our family here at the Madison church of Christ.

Bible classes are offered for all ages on Sunday mornings and Wednesday nights. Prior to class on Wednesday evenings, we gather for a fellowship meal, and visitors are always welcome to dine with us!

You'll find our Sunday morning worship service is simple and reverent. In keeping with apostolic teaching, all acts of the worship in the assembly are led by men of the congregation (1 Tim. 2:8-12). After a reading from God's Word, we'll sing a capella ("church style," without instruments), as Christians have done for 2,000 years (Eph. 5:19; Col. 3:16). We will be led in prayer to seek God's blessing on our worship (Acts 2:42), and we will participate in a communion service (Acts 20:7; 1 Cor. 11:23-26). All baptized believers are encouraged to partake in the Lord's Supper.

We will take up an offering that helps support our work locally and in mission fields around the world (1 Cor. 16:2); members are encouraged to give cheerfully and purposefully. Visitors are not expected to participate, although you may, if you wish.

Every sermon is based on God's Word (1 Tim. 4:13). At the close of the lesson, we will offer an invitation to anyone who would like to become a Christian, and for any who need our prayers or some encouragement. We'll close with a final prayer, and we hope you'll stick around for a few minutes after that, so we can meet you.

On Sunday evenings, we gather to take a closer look at the morning lesson. The Sunday evening Bible study is interactive, with an emphasis on fellowship and building relationships.

We look forward to meeting you!
